My 1st attempt at filming while using the WalkyDog
January 3, 2009
I decide to test out my new camera with Parker using the WalkyDog the other day. It was a little difficult getting used to riding one handed while trying to shoot, but I think I got some decent shots.

Does the walkydog come with a harness? Could the leash simply attach to our dog’s collar? What would you consider the optimum option? Thank you.

I know that some people attach directly to the collar feeling they have more control of the dog this way, but I personally like using a good harness better. It distributes the pull evenly across the dog’s body instead of focusing on the neck. This allows the dog more freedom to run like you can see in my videos. When looking for a harness I would focus on something that has padding on the straps or is designed to prevent rubbing or chaffing on your dog. Thank you for the question
